A September Update - Moving House

The real life ratio took its pound of flesh and hit a four-bagger with all the celebration and jubilation of...of...what was I saying?

So, there was a house for sale that is no longer for sale. I woke up several hours later and it appears I now own it. Huh. Well, turns out that's an exhausting, detail-driven process that drains you in ways only the mother of a newborn baby can understand. Not the father. All father's leave for smokes....

The September Synopsis is "Jam Everything You Hate Down Your Own Throat...And Call Me Daddy!" Through the video game lens, that meant menus, menus, menus; crawling through the proverbial crawlspaces to attach a new thingy-ma-bob to the do-hickey. I wish I could highlight something interesting here, but it's really all meant to be boring at this stage so let's just sit in the boredom and die a little together.

Ah, that's refreshing. The only cool stuff this month revolved around art, specifically for an unannounced strategy game. The gist is that I wanted to have something immediately glorious to behold, yet also childish in its very existence. I think I got what I wanted there, but I need to work on making it feel more...glamorous? Yeah, let's go with that word.

Elsewhere was, frankly, more wire threading. Youtube videos fell VERY behind, so I had to press the gas on those. There's also an old-ass idea I had that has some genuine good-feels to mine, especially for that barren hellscape I call my social media presence. Raking the muck to find all the gold teeth is a decent past time as long as it's for a limited time.

Next month, I'm planning on introducing a few new things here since I'll have plenty of downtime/far fewer distractions sitting in the darkness of my new place. God help them if the internet doesn't work. God. Help. Them. All....Daddy.
