After a predictably boring month of steady progress, let's completely shift gears into another stratosphere of productive, overwhelming list obliteration. Or die trying!
Working on one creative project for too long can lessen the creativity the project actually receives. After a while, all it's getting out of you ae drops of the good stuff like a cow with chapped udders. Thusly, I simply MUST be a hyper-active monkey in the center of twenty-four keyboards, spinning on a stool and bashing my fists against the keys until I make a number-one hit.
The law is the law. Here's something funny to distract you while the FBI raid your house:
The swing of projects is more of an addition to my mental front burner. I couldn't possibly just let some projects fall away, so I'm actually just bringing a few out from under the sink. You know, for the challenge. For the active ones, Panoramic continues to swim along nicely despite a voice actor completely bailing on their paid gig. Adapt. Overcome. The writing portion of Pan will be finished by the end of May with recording stretching on for a few more months. Then, we may have another project already cooking in the oven...wait, how long do you cook popcorn?
Video games keep on video gaming along. Every day is another addition to the "good enough to play" Done pile. One of the projects coming forward is, indeed, another video game, so the overall goal here is to get all three current game ideas to a prototype stage by the end of the Summer. From there, the timelines will start to vary wildly just since they're all completely different levels of work. I'll also be introducing them in a series of extra little posts throughout the next few months as things start looking like other things. Let's hear it for the things!
The other sister project I'm bringing back up front is W.R.I.T.I.N.G. I'm exhausted with these half-finished scripts, so May in particular is going to be huge for bringing that pillow fort to its knees. I have two in mind specifically to knock my sledge against, thus so it shall be done.
Changing plans is easy - never forget the corpses of the plans behind you will leave a map for historians to study decades from now. You know, when there are no historians left, just bloggers.
