A new era of Myggaming and SimpleShutIn isn't all that far from dawning now, and it's probably about the right time for me to...actually work on that sort of thing...hm.
Time is dumb - I think this is an established, well regarded fact of life by now. The ticking doesn't even make sense. Clocks should make a clock noise - literally. Clock, clock, not tick-tock, dumb-dumb!

After washing that out of my mouth with some very abrasive hot sauce, all boats have pushed ahead rather nicely these past few months. The first key that I'd love to underline here is that very few new projects have managed to worm into my brain space, and only one of those has travelled like the Devil's lightning through my fingertips. Ideas are almost always invading my frontal lobe but any time that they slot well enough into existing projects is a pathway to a completing more projects with a higher "Yassssss" factor.

Speaking of things that definitely needed to get done, here's the latest and design-iest from Taco Terror:
Taco Terror won't have any huge updates until end of next month (if then). The nitty-gritty begins again on that project in full, which means a lot of connecting wires and plumber-crack to look forward to.

Elsewhere, the results for one major competition came in - Eat The Rich (my super subtle action script) took a Quarterfinals placement.  Very much a "thanks, I hate it" sort of gift. I'm not sure what part of me is missing to just be happy to be invited to the dance, but I'm just not interested in participation medals. To be fair, this isn't that; thousands of people showed up to this particularly-large prom, and I was one of a few dozen that were invited into the building. I just want the crown when I get all dressed up for it.

Panoramic's next two episodes are literally on my desktop in pieces as these words spew forth. Grabbing a large group of people's attention for one episode at a time was inefficient from the start, so I'd love to keep this going to keep them moving at a much faster clip out the door. I WOULD love that....but that's something we'll talk about more in a month or two, after episodes 3 and 4 come out.

Besides those, I've been big into a television series this month that I hope to have the first season scribbled through by the end of this month. Having 10-ish episodes, this series will be seen as a complete oddity since it's now illegal to have any seasons longer than 8 episodes. People have not the attention for such lengthy binge sessions. Well, luckily my main market are dolphins, who are notoriously lazy creatures.

There will be a fair amount of iteration for this series because I want it to feel like a league above - that "smart boi" writing that I miss. Not that there's an inherent idiocy to the rest of my work, but there's certainly a re-discovering of how intelligently I used to (feel like I) wrote when it wasn't for the audience. I specifically remember a later English course in college where we had to spend all semester on one large project. I brought mine to share and someone asked me with a refreshing honesty "Why write like this? Like, who could understand any of this?"

These next few writing projects are for you, lacrosse student. This one's for you.
