Writing Adventures
I've finally discovered a VERY old piece of the internet, and it's helped me keep this boat rowing up a waterfall.
So Lofi channels on Youtube, amiright? The endless music is exactly my vibe. Nothing for me to skip, nothing for me to laugh at - the channels are simply a vehicle for my Zen state of writing. My two favorites are the Coca-Cola of Lofi and one with a bit more Eastern flair.
Those looping animations and dope beats have married with my current fascination with inertia. Rolling the rock down the hill so it tumbles at the same pace as music and a chasing set of feet. Once you start moving, the world takes notice and matches your pace. Feathers of ideas like that have given me an itch for good, kinetic music.
Anywho, I've been booted out without placing in the Launch Pad competition. i still very much believe in that script, so I'm going to see what a few months of separation has given as far as perspective. I'll very likely put it into another contest - because punishment glutton.
I'm also in The Green Shoes prompt competition - which I'm already into the second round of. Super! I'm also, also in another prompt-based competition that starts on the 8th of July. What fun! Also, also, also - Fragmented Voices asked me what Home meant. I wrote about that and submitted for their summer collection.
