After a swelteringly busy month, it's become clear to me that cheese is all there ever was. Expect Taco Terror updates and other cheesy additions.
Compared to your average American, who consumes a faintingly-high 42 pounds of cheese a year, I'm only a cheese sophomore. I'll be lucky to start in the big Cheese Bowl on Friday to impress my gal, Gouda, into running away with me on my big-wheel...of cheese.
Yet, I have embraced the cheese this month. Ooey, gooey, and surprisingly insightful in astrophysics, cheese has guided me to enlightenment. Through the cheese, I have become a homogenous blob. With the cheese, I will become flavor. That flavor turned out to be spicy Pepper Jack this month with the progress on Taco Terror at full-tilt "6-9 nice" territory. The second (and last) main version of the demo has released just in time for Steam Next Fest by an astonishing coincidence. This was a big effort for me, the level designer, and the artist to bring everything together across two additional levels, a full-fledged hideout, new awesome music by Robot Co-op, and a lot more.
So, let's dwell on that Taco Terror thing for a moment; a second demo is a weird thing in a world of Early Access and paywalls, right? The concept of giving something away for "free" is alien, or less hyperbolically, seen as bad for business when your business is the cutting edge. Don't let a potential pay wall go unbuilt because it could be your last chance to ever make money, to ever give your audience your best shot.
That's certainly...an approach, but it's lacking in any and every idea of sustainability. The Taco Terror team would love to have your money. We've talked about it, I have a dumb graph that I can fiddle with that shows me potential payouts, and I'm preparing to fill the largest tub I can with pennies as we speak (surprisingly active sub-Reddits on the topic). What I don't want is all of the money in the world right this very second from you or you'll miss the next big social wave of Zeitgeist Prime - Now Colder! Thus, a second, more robust demo is the way to go. Make everything feel better so you and I can feel better about flirting over a hearty Taco Terror meal later this year. In the meantime, any and all Wishlists are supremely appreciated. I'll be posting a new trailer soon, then we'll be ramping up the fun over the summer as we move closer to the edge of ecstasy. 
Alright, then, everything-the-hell else. The second episode of Panoramic is coming along quickly now with my lady-servant chopping up the finest audio bits to be stuffed into the cheapest sausages in existence. Writing competition results are upcoming where I'll take any feedback into my hand and light it all on fire. Some news on End The World is coming very soon that will crack that puppy wide open for as many to enjoy as possible.
The largest upcoming news revolves around Youtube and the second coming of the Myggaming channel. I look forward to that being the next large update alongside several other pieces because, as I look at that to-do list, I am laughably behind on some things. Oh well, nothing a little cheese can't solve!
