End The World and a new Simple Explanation get a new spotlight this week, and maybe I'll even give my opinion on something. On the internet, of all places. It is my opinion that you should pay me some money in exchange for goods and services. Like any opinion, I suppose I'll have to slap you with evidence to convince you. *sigh* Growing up, I came into the video game world with handhelds as my first real "me" console. My dumb sister and her dumb ownership stopped me from being able to play her Sega Genesis whenever I wanted. Joke's on her, I have one now and she has children. Dummy. Anywho, the age-old pixelated graphics that I take like Copium is what was used to create End The World. I went into exhaustive detail here on the type of game this is, so I'll just add here that I'm a massive fan of the story I created for this game. I loved having the limitations of the GameBoy in mind, and then hated how limiting those limitations ended up being. Read: This was a great game and the erasers used were more important than the pencil for this project. Check it out here as even a wishlist-and-wait-for-a-sale mentality is a huge plus in my mind. Next on the "do I produce things that go out every day?" list is the Simple Explanation for Pointing. For those that don't know, this tiny series is pointed - heh, heh - at improving the lives of simple Neanderthals as well as those that were just looked over by the system. Pointing class at my school was always a vicious dog fight to get into every semester, and not everyone is cut out to smash a bottle against little Brad Jenkins' head to achieve higher education. Now, we must go to the big timeline to see what progress is happening, and what other projects I'm pushing so far onto the back burner that the pot's embedded into the wall.
For those that haven't, feel free to check out/keep me an honest capitulator based off this project timeline. October had two main goals: Launch some Simple Explanations and End The World (launch the game, not specifically end the world). Mission accomplished on those, but the work continues elsewhere. I'll be making a post soon about being social on the socials, expanding my writing repertoire, and posting about the various new exploits of my rise to universal creation, one world at a time. Here's to another few weeks or productivity, going to rehab, then coming back out with the warm love of God fueling another two weeks of good work. In the meantime, you...are welcome!
